Duties: The Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD) at the University of York is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow to lead projects, provide advanced statistical guidance and develop methods for use in evidence synthesis. CRD is a research department that specialises in evidence synthesis and conducts projects across a wide range of health areas to provide best evidence to inform policy and practice decisions. Our research spans health technology assessment, public health and policy and service delivery and organisation, all underpinned by a programme of methodological development and commitment to knowledge exchange and mobilisation
Requirements: Our research provides a fertile ground for methods development with many evidence synthesis projects generating data and research questions requiring methodological advances. The person appointed will be able to draw on CRD’s expertise including expert information specialists, systematic reviewers and early career statisticians, along with support from the departmental leadership team to help develop their own research interests
