Position: Capital Modelling Risk Analyst

Duties: The role will provide exposure to the modelling and aggregation of Property Casualty Insurance. Economic capital is of growing importance to AIG as it strengthens relationships with investors, regulators, and rating agencies. AIG uses its Internal Capital model as part of risk management, capital management, business strategy and pricing, and as a means of achieving an appropriate risk-adjusted return on its business activities
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science; Experience of using with programming languages, such as VBA and MatLab, and ability to learn new ones. Igloo is the primary capital modelling platform used; Successful passing of one or more actuarial exams is preferred; Proven proficiency in mathematical and statistical methodologies; Experience with spreadsheets and databases
