Duties: The Research Fellow will conduct various project related tasks, including: Help to support a research programme, alongside other colleagues, that contributes to the Centre’s research profile (nationally and internationally) and that is capable of securing funded research in the future. Pursue your own research agenda, publishing in relevant national and international peer-reviewed journals. Collect primary data directly from schools, or use existing educational datasets such as the National Pupil Database. Contribute to teaching, particularly supervising graduate research students
Requirements: The successful candidate will hold a doctorate degree in (or close to completion/or equivalent experience) in education, statistics, psychology, neuroscience or related fields. In addition, they will have proven evidence of strong quantitative research skills or experience with working closely with quantitative researchers and evidence of the ability to publish in relevant scholarly publications in areas relevant to the Centre

These include, but are not limited to, economics, psychology and other applied disciplines in education. The posts are initially fully funded, giving appointees the opportunity to develop their own research agenda, with the expectation that they will progressively apply for external research funding. The Research Fellow will conduct various project related tasks, including: Help to support a research programme, alongside other colleagues, that contributes to the Centres research profile (nationally and internationally) and that is capable of securing funded research in the future.
