Duties: The post holder will provide technical and peadaloical support to FMS departmental staff with transferring activities on-line, including the development and implementation of local variants of Moodle templates. They will also provide training for academic and professional services staff. The role holder will project manage the implementation of new software packages for educational and assessment delivery and provide ongoing user support and train and supervise student assistants with the production of on-line materials
Requirements: Applicants must be educated to degree level, in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience. They must have experience of learning design and e-learning content development, including VLE Platforms such as Moodle. Experience of IT project management including compiling technical specifications is essential along with an understanding of Higher Education academic programme management requirements, audiences, interactions and services, preferably in relation to undergraduate medical education
