Duties: The post holder will have specific responsibility for the delivery of teaching, co-ordination and continuous development of the Certificate and the Diploma years of the overall programme, and will also be expected to supervise MSc dissertations/research projects. The post holder will have responsibilities as part of the team under the Head of Eastman CPD to develop, procure, deliver and lead on the delivery of Short courses and non credit bearing CPD programmes, both through the delivery of teaching on site or through blended learning. The post holder will also play an active role assisting the Head of CPD in the development and delivery of microcredentials
Requirements: Experience of delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in restorative dentistry is essential as is experience of delivering CPD courses. Applicants must have experience of providing specialist dental practices, a Masters or PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and current registration as a dentist with the GDC, or eligibility for registration. Amongst many activities, the department offers the prestigious part-time MSc programmes for General Dental Practitioners in Restorative Dental Practice.
