Duties: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Programme Administrator and Marketing Officer to join the Department of Space and Climate Physics. The post holder will organise and market training courses in project management, technology management and systems engineering. They will develop and manage relationships with corporate customers of training courses and individual end users. The post holder will also play a key role in overseeing and implementing the communications and marketing strategies of the Technology Management Group in line with those of the Department, the Faculty and UCL as a whole. The post holder will lead in the following areas: organising training courses, designing and producing marketing literature (brochures, flyers, posters etc.) and web communications (e-newsletters, social media posts, mailing lists etc.) brand and visual identity management as well as event co-ordination
Requirements: The post holder should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and tailor content effectively to different formats and audiences. Strong organisational skills, time management and project management skills, including the ability to work effectively on numerous group and individual projects simultaneously are also essential. The successful candidate should have good computing skills including competence with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel, as well as excellent editing skills
