Position: Senior Statistical Geneticist

Duties: We are seeking an experienced statistical geneticist, with a strong background in statistical leadership. You will play a key role in determining the strategic direction of future research carried out by the group and will be responsible for the statistical design and supervision of analyses, reporting of study findings and developing effective academic collaborations. Moreover, you will develop will contribute to other areas of research within the programmes, represent the group at national and international conferences and assist with student supervision
Requirements: To be considered, you will hold a relevant PhD and have post-qualification research experience. You will have demonstrable experience in at least three of the following areas, Generation and/or analysis of high-throughput genetic and genomic data, Genome-scale association analyses in GWAS and/or sequence data, Bioinformatics including manipulation and integration of large genetic and genomic data sets and analysis within large international consortia
