Position: Research Associate (Postdoc) in computer vision

Duties: Develop and guarantee a strong communication with project stakeholders; Managing projects with a large consortium; Managing outreach projects/activities; Development of different computer vision algorithms/platforms; Disseminating results through scientific publications; Attracting funding in cooperation with industrial partners; Participating in proposal writing; Shaping research directions and producing results; Coordinating research projects and delivering outputs; Providing support in setting up and running experiments; Implementing real-time solutions; Providing guidance to PhD and MSc students; Organizing relevant workshops and demonstrations; Participating to the teaching activities
Requirements: A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related field; Strong development skills in Java/Python/C++; Strong mathematical background; Broad experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning concepts; Good experience with one or more of the machine learning platforms: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc; Commitment, team working and a critical mind; Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
