Duties: We are looking to appoint a talented, highly motivated Associate Professor with proven research and education experience relevant to child development/mental health. They will undertake impactful relevant research leading to high quality publications. The postholder will also provide inspirational and strategic leadership in education, including overall management and development of the existing portfolio of postgraduate programmes in child mental health
Requirements: Candidates must have a PhD in an area related to child development/child mental health, a demonstrated capability to initiate and conduct leading-edge research, an established reputation in their field and a strong publication list for stage of career. The post holder should also have experience of designing and teaching postgraduate programmes in the field of child mental health or child development; We are interested in candidates from a broad range of backgrounds and expertise, but are especially looking to appoint a candidate able to combine research and educational leadership within the field of child/adolescent development and mental health; We encourage applications from those who are underrepresented in the sector and in the UCL Division of Psychology and Language Sciences, including, but not exclusive to, people from Black, Asian, and ethnic minority backgrounds

A longstanding partnership with the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families has helped us forge links between research and practice, including the delivery of an outstanding portfolio of postgraduate programmes.
