Text: Working Student for the development of data analysis for Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (21-17-8) Tuesday, 15. June 2021 The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is the National Metrology Institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with scientific and technical service tasks. It furthers progress and reliability in metrology for society, the economy and science. In the department 8.4, "Mathematical Modelling and Data Analysis”, located in Berlin-Charlottenburg we are looking for a Working Student for the development of data analysis for Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting 10,69€/h. or 12,43€/h. (with bachelor’s degree) ○ 36 h./month The position is limited to a period of six months. Working times are scheduled by agreement. Your tasks: The position is located in the statistical data analysis group. Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting is a method in quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that is used to quantitatively determine tissue-related parameters. The aim of this work is to apply already existing, statistical MRF methods to real MR data. For this, it will be necessary to improve the physical model of the generated data.
