The Parallel Computing and Optimisation group ( https://pcog.uni.lu ) headed by Prof. Pascal Bouvry, is seeking an outstanding Research Associate to strengthen its research team in the area of Search, Optimization, and Machine Learning Techniques . You will play a key role in the joint research programme between the Luxembourg Institute of Standardisation, Accreditation, Safety, and Quality of Products and Services (ILNAS) and the University of Luxembourg, that aims at creating an innovative environment for smart-­ICT and related standardization efforts. Three Ph.D. students will be working on the following smart-­ICT targets: Trustworthy ICT, Aerospace, and Construction. The research associate will be responsible for the project management. Tasks include overseeing the Ph.D. students within their respective research and standardization activities, assisting in organizing relevant workshops and events, supporting the dissemination of results in scientific research and technical standardization, reporting, and involvement in respective standardization committees. The Research Associate is expected to pursue state of the art research activities in Search, Optimization, and Machine Learning Techniques , write research proposals, assist in supervision, teaching and public dissemination activities of the PCOG group.
