Duties: We seek a highly motivated and qualified individual to work on compiling data from previous scientific studies in the field of environmental geochemistry, including searching for literature in academic databases, and to assist in the preparation of an international scientific conference which is planned for July 2022. Further tasks may involve providing assistance with laboratory analyses
Requirements: MSc degree in environmental science or related fields; Advanced proficiency in English and German (spoken and written); Excellent communication skills; Outgoing and open minded attitude; Passion for a variety of tasks as well as for an organized and exact working method; Experience in academic literature searches (databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, etc.)
   
Text: Eawag, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, is an internationally networked aquatic research institute within the ETH Domain (Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology). Eawag conducts research, education and expert consulting to achieve the dual goals of meeting direct human needs for water and maintaining the function and integrity of aquatic ecosystems. The Environmental Inorganic Geochemistry Group based at Eawag and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) is currently looking to fill a temporary position to assist with diverse scientific and administrative tasks. The position is available immediately or by arrangement.
