Duties: This European Partnerships and Projects Co-ordinator is an essential post within UCL’s Study Abroad team, with responsibility for European Exchange partnerships and projects and activities relating to the implementation of UCL’s Global Engagement Strategy, alongside other relevant institutional strategic priorities. This will involve European partnership management and maintenance, including managing the preparation, renewal and re-negotiation of inter-institutional agreements with European partners, working closely with the European Programmes Co-ordinator. It will also involve a focus on other strategic projects going forward within UCL Study Abroad, as determined by UCL’s Global Engagement Strategy
Requirements: for this role include: experience of working with partner institutions and negotiating partnership agreements, the ability to retrieve and gather data, and organise and analyse it to reach meaningful conclusions. Demonstrable experience of, and ability to, influence colleagues to achieve business objectives, knowledge of HE systems and issues relating to study abroad; Ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of students and outside agencies as well as internal staff at all levels. Excellent interpersonal and team working skills, ability to initiate work and to work unsupervised, excellent administrative and organisational skills, outstanding accuracy and attention to detail, ability to be flexible and adaptable in response to changing priorities

The Study Abroad team is responsible for the delivery of a programme of opportunities for students to gain global experience as part of their UCL studies. The team work to promote global student mobility across the institution, providing a range of services for students considering, preparing for, or undertaking, an international placement.
