April 2021 The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is the National Metrology Institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with scientific and technical service tasks. It furthers progress and reliability in metrology for society, the economy, and science. With a starting date as soon as possible, the Presidential Board (PSt) is looking for a candidate to fill the following position at PTB’s Berlin site for a duration of four years: Project manager specializing in digitalization up to Remuneration Group 14 TVöD Bund ○ full-time (39 hours/week) ○ fixed-term contract Your tasks: Within the scope of an extensive digitalization strategy, PTB is actively driving the digital transformation of metrology and the quality infrastructure forward. In this context, an internal project entitled “Digital Workflow” is connecting PTB’s project components into one integrated work and information flow. The “ QI-Digital ” project is moreover linking PTB’s internal projects with those of our external partners and is developing a joint strategy for the digital transformation of the quality infrastructure. This project aims to develop an interoperable, effective and efficient quality infrastructure for the “Made in Germany” label in a digitalized world. You are creative, ready to extend your skills, and are highly committed. You are reliable and able to work autonomously. You have a very good command of both written and spoken English and German. You are willing to go on short business trips within Germany and abroad.
