Position: Laboratory Technician for ETpathfinder

Duties: Performing maintenance of technical equipment; Installing of the technical infrastructure of ETpathfinder; Performing electrical installation for ETpathfinder; Acting as point of contact and overseeing technical work carried out by external partners and contractors; Support the effective function of the ETpathfinder cleanroom, including keeping stock of consumables (cleanroom clothes, gloves, sticky mats, liquids etc) and order new supplies; Working within a large team of scientists from within Maastricht University and about 20 collaborating national and international partner Universities and Research Institutions and in particular also work together with members of the technical departments from Nikhef; The location of this full-time job is in the ETpathfinder facility, Duboisdomein 30, Maastricht
Requirements: Trained as Electrician (essential); Proficient in English and Dutch language and good communication skills (essential); Experience in mechanical machining and/or maintenance of mechanical systems or infrastructure (essential); Ambition to develop further in specific areas of attention, such as for instance operation of cranes, health and safety regulations and procedures or lasers safety (essential); You can work independently (essential); You are flexible in your service provision and in collaboration with others (essential); Experience or qualification in electronical or mechanical engineering (desirable)
