In this PhD project, you will apply modern machine learning methods to optimize the operation as well as to identify innovative design solutions for the system
Requirements: Sc. degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, information technology or related field of study; Experience in numerical simulations, optimization, control theory, battery technology and data-driven modeling; Good language skills in German and English; Passionate researcher
   
Text: PhD student (f/m/d) position in battery research operation of next generation batteries with machine learning methods We invite you to join the research group for methods of battery management at the department for engineering science at the University of Bayreuth. The position is full time, temporary, within the payment arrangement TV-L E 13 and to be occupied as soon as possible. BayBatt Research Center Shape the future of electromobility with us at the BayBatt research center (BAVARIAN CENTER FOR BATTERY TECHNOLOGY). We develop batteries as an integrated and intelligent system of modules, cells and management system. In this interdisciplinary research we bring together material research, electrochemistry, engineering, information technology and economy.
