Duties: We are seeking a talented Online Programmes and Short Courses Manager who will manage a set of projects from the Online Programmes Office’s portfolio of activity. The postholder will contribute to the Office’s remit by leading projects that support OVPESA’s objective of trialing and evaluating new modes and models of educational delivery
Requirements: The post holder should hold significant experience of project management, demonstrated by proven evidence of successfully initiating, managing and completing projects in an academic, commercial or third sector environment. Experience of scoping and implementing cross-organisational system and process improvements in a large organisation. Experience of working within an educational delivery environment. The post holder should have proven ability to work independently to manage and deliver on a number of projects simultaneously, and to prioritise workload of self and others
   
Text: Online Programmes and Short Courses Manager, - Ref:1874569 Click here to go back to search results Apply Now UCL Department / Division Office of the Vice Provost (Education and Student Affairs) Location of position London Grade 7 Hours Full Time Salary (inclusive of London allowance) £36,028 - £43,533 Per annum Duties and Responsibilities The Office of the Vice-Provost (Education & Student Affairs) provides strategic leadership and direction in education, and manages major education projects with cross-institutional impact. An expanded strategic focus is investigating opportunities for UCL to deliver education through new modes and models. This set of projects incorporates fully online programmes; blended programmes; the potential for micro-credentials, and refocusing the strategic objectives for short courses (covering all delivery formats from fully online to fully face-to-face). We are seeking a talented Online Programmes and Short Courses Manager who will manage a set of projects from the Online Programmes Offices portfolio of activity. The postholder will contribute to the Offices remit by leading projects that support OVPESAs objective of trialing and evaluating new modes and models of educational delivery. The post holder will advise departments in the development and delivery of online programmes and short courses; support the implementation and maintenance of processes and systems relevant to the portfolio, and liaise with a broad range of colleagues on refining or introducing new initiatives to strengthen the portfolio. The role is for 15 months in the first instance, starting as soon as possible.
