Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Duties: The Postdoctoral Research Associate I will design, organize and conduct research on fluid dynamic problems related to the form and function of organisms using a combination of experimental and computational fluid dynamics and contribute to the development of the new Mathematics Fluid Dynamics Lab. If appropriate, the Postdoctoral Research Associate I may also teach courses in the Mathematics Department and participate in the UA Math Postdoctoral Program
Requirements: PhD degree in mathematics, engineering, or related fields. The successful candidate will have a solid background in either experimental or computational fluid dynamics with an interest in applying these tools to understand problems in biology. They will have excellent research potential and a strong commitment to mentoring, service and teaching
