Duties: This role will involve working across the myeloma and immunotherapy labs in UCL to support the above project; The candidate's are to include molecular cloning of required constructs, multi-parametric flow cytometry, to attend research seminars and other departmental meetings as required, to participate in any laboratory duties commensurate with the grade as required; The candidate is expected to be aware of and act upon: Disciplinary procedure and Disciplinary rules; Grievance procedure; Section 7 and 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act; Departmental Fire Guidelines; Equal Opportunities Policy; and to comply with the Health & Safety regulations of the department and The hours of work and the distribution of these are at the discretion of the Head of Department
Requirements: The candidate should possess a BSc in biomedical sciences or a related subject, have some experience in laboratory methods in molecular biology and cell biology and be willing to participate in small animal work. The candidate should also be able to work in a team, have good organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and to able to work to deadlines. The candidate should be a problem solver, be highly motivated to succeed in research and have a commitment to high quality research
