Duties: The UCL Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) is a multidisciplinary department with a long tradition of excellence in teaching and research; We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering who will have responsibility for developing and leading cutting-edge research, developing relationships with industry for grant applications and industrial proposals, and designing, teaching and assessing courses and modules in CEGE, contributing to the transformation of knowledge into practice and learning
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a PhD and a significant track record in Environmental Engineering or other relevant technical subject area that contributes to departmental strengths, and demonstrated excellence in research, evidenced by high quality refereed publications and participation in conferences. Experience in working with communities, and/or international development, and the ability to develop links with a network of academic and industrial collaborators are also essential. Academic leadership skills, and an international research profile would be an advantage
