Duties: Take responsibilities for data management and database activities working on various studies supported by the paediatric research centre; Direct Data Management team activities to ensure timely, standard and requirement compliant research project deliverables; Build, test and validate databases and CRFs according to established standards and applicable protocols; Develop and execute SOPs, departmental guidelines and data standards to guarantee database quality control and data management compliance; Document, verify, validate and execute regulatory compliant research data management activities; Engage in study planning to ensure timely commencement of CRF and database design and edit checks
Requirements: Bachelor or Master degree with relevant experience in the field of data science, data management and the development of databases with EDC systems in clinical research; Experience in developing/establishing relevant data management processes and documentation; Experience in handling data within a health research setting (hands on experience with databases); Demonstrated understanding of issues about data confidentiality/security/privacy; Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts

We support participating children, adolescents and their parents throughout the entire study period. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced “Clinical Trials Data Manager” to join our growing team. Hauptaufgaben : Take responsibilities for data management and database activities working on various studies supported by the paediatric research centre. Direct Data Management team activities to ensure timely, standard and requirement compliant research project deliverables. Build, test and validate databases and CRFs according to established standards and applicable protocols. Develop and execute SOPs, departmental guidelines and data standards to guarantee database quality control and data management compliance. Document, verify, validate and execute regulatory compliant research data management activities. Engage in study planning to ensure timely commencement of CRF and database design and edit checks. Guide teams to capture data using methods such as Electronic Data Capture, for example in OpenClinica, secuTrial and REDCap. Use problem solving and judgment to apply Research Data Management principles. Update new technology developments and comply with research data management associated regulatory issues. Enter and compile data to generate and develop summary reports and graphics, including in preparation of audits and inspections. Liaise with and advise senior investigators and study teams as well as various non-research departments and ICT at UKBB. Train and support end users in all aspects of data capture and management. Anforderungen : Bachelor or Master degree with relevant experience in the field of data science, data management and the development of databases with EDC systems in clinical research Experience in developing/establishing relevant data management processes and documentation.
