Duties: As Entrepreneurship Development Fellow in the Knowledge Transfer Group you will: Coach and mentor early stage startup founders at CERN; Identify and build networks of startup incubators, early stage investors in deep tech and mentors (other startup founders) to support startups from CERN; Take responsibility for the coordination and delivery of entrepreneurship student programmes at CERN, in particular the CERN Entrepreneurship Student Programme (CESP) and the CERN-NTNU Screening Week; Identify ways of increasing awareness and attractiveness of entrepreneurship inside CERN; Contribute to other key activities of the KT Group and Sections, including the Organization of internal trainings and the management of a few selected knowledge transfer cases
Requirements: Eligibility criteria: You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State; You have graduated, or are about to graduate, with a university degree (BSc or MSc level of a technical or scientific domain broadly related to CERN's technical domains) and have no more than 4 years’ relevant experience after obtaining your degree

Job Description Are you interested in working with startup founders to help the create of start-up companies to maximize the impact of CERN technologies and expertise on society? CERN, take part! You will join the Entrepreneurship Team of the Knowledge Transfer (KT) Group , which is in charge of identifying and realizing opportunities for CERN’s know-how to be applied in fields other than particle physics, in order to maximize the impact of CERN technologies and expertise on society (in particular through industry). Within the Group, you will, amongst other tasks, contribute to entrepreneurship related activities for CERN, working with the CERN’s network of incubators and supporting the creation of new CERN start-ups. You will also conduct studies to evaluate the impact of CERN’s KT activities, and contribute ad hoc to other activities of the group, including organizing internal trainings and taking responsibility of some key accounts. Essential skills and experience: Demonstrated experience in the area of entrepreneurship development; Demonstrated experience in support to technology-based start-up creation. Desired skills and experience: Previous exposure to working with early stage startups such as business models, developing go-to-market strategies, and/or product development would be considered as asset. Please note that CERN Staff members are not eligible to apply for a Fellowship. Additional Information CERN would very much like to benefit from your expertise, commitment and passion. In return, CERN will provide you with: An employment contract for between six months (minimum) up to a maximum of 36 months. A stipend ranging from 5,281 to 6,558 Swiss Francs per month (net of tax). Coverage by CERN’s comprehensive health scheme (for yourself, your spouse and children), and membership of the CERN Pension Fund. Depending on your individual circumstances: an installation grant, family, child and infant allowances as well as travel expenses to and from Geneva. 2.5 days of paid leave per month.
