Minimum Required Education Doctorate degree (e.g., DrPH or Ph.D.) in epidemiology preferably from a CEPH accredited institution. MPH degree from a CEPH accredited program or school if the candidate has a Ph.D. in an area related to public health. Minimum Required Experience Experience or expertise in social or epidemiological research. Experience in utilizing statistical packages such as SAS, SPSS, or STATA. Experience and publications using secondary databases. Minimum Required Licenses and/or Certifications None. Qualifications Doctorate degree (e.g., DrPH or Ph.D.) in epidemiology preferably from a CEPH accredited institution. Skills and Abilities Expertise in social or epidemiological research. Must meet the qualifications for appointment as a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. Demonstrate a track record of scholarly publications (appropriate to academic rankings). Demonstrate a track record of extramural finding (appropriate to academic rankings). Familiar with educational technologies and innovative learning. Job Duties and Responsibilities Teach graduate courses in designated concentrations. Participate in curriculum development. Serve as MPH and DrPH student advisor. Serve on dissertation committees. Participate/contribute to various committees at the Department, School, and University levels.- Contribute to the acquisition of extramural funding. Demonstrate a track record of ongoing research engagement and scholarly peer-reviewed publications. Participate in community outreach engagement. Work cooperatively and collegiately within a diverse student, faculty and University environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
