Position: Sr Director/Vice President of Software Development

Duties: Scale and hire the India team across multiple R&D functions; Present technology vision and roadmap to a diverse set of corporate audiences including team leads, executive committee, board of directors, and business community; Oversee the management and implementation of product development projects, ensuring time, quality and budget goals are met. Requirements: BS in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience with a minimum of 10+ years in software development leadership positions; Must have experience scaling a development center from the ground up; Experience working in a multi-national company. Prior working experience in the US a plus; Prior experience leading and mentoring managers of software development teams as well as leading medium to large (100 people+) geographically dispersed teams in the development and maintenance of multiple complex software products; Experience with Agile development methodologies

Position Summary: We are looking for a strategic leader to lead a cross-functional team of back-end, mobile, full-stack, devops and automation engineers in India. In this global role you will collaborate with international teams across Europe and North America build, test and deploy product updates. Responsibilities: Scale and hire the India team across multiple R&D functions. Present technology vision and roadmap to a diverse set of corporate audiences including team leads, executive committee, board of directors, and business community. Oversee the management and implementation of product development projects, ensuring time, quality and budget goals are met. Lead and further develop large team of experienced software developers. Build up, maintain and enhance Perforce culture in India. Be the voice of corporate management for all India based employees. Maintain high levels of engagement and retention. Demonstrate value creation ability and develop strategy for future Indian based activities. Experience with cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services (AWS) Knowledge of micro-services architecture and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) Experience in working with build & packaging tools (Docker, Jenkins) Experience with a high-volume or critical production service environments Be able to guide projects and features end to end Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts.
