Duties: A postdoctoral research position is available at the London Centre for Nanotechnology. The postholder will join the group of Dr Pavlo Zubko and will contribute to the groups research activities on nanoscale ferroelectricity in epitaxial oxide thin films and heterostructures. The aim of this project is to investigate ferroelectricity in hafnia-based ferroelectric thin films; will include the growth of epitaxial films using off-axis magnetron sputtering, and their structural and electrical characterisation using a variety of experimental techniques as detailed in the Job Description and Person Specification; Duration of the position is for 18 months in the first instance
Requirements: Eligible candidates should have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or a related field.
