Duties: Student Records is a busy team at the heart of UCLs student administration, you will help coordinate some of the teams work. The Student Records team is responsible for student processes from enrolment to awarding of qualifications; An essential part of the role is working closely with Faculties and departments to foster a collaborative approach and understand the academic work undertaken in these departments and how this affects the student records; The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the accuracy and completeness of UCLs student records across the student population and across the student lifecycle. You will be expected to build and maintain effective working relationships with other professional services, academic departments and faculties. You will be a key point of contact for students, academic and professional staff on student records, procedures and regulations across all UCL students; You will be expected to develop an overview of all aspects of the work of the section, and to deputise for the Manager in their absence. It will be important for you to work with the Student Records Manager to plan the work and establish the priorities and work for the team and also analyse suggestions and process improvements where required
Requirements: Knowledge of the SITS student information system or other equivalent student records system; Substantial experience of working in an administrative support role in a busy office environment; Experience of working in an academic environment; Experience of interpreting and advising on complex regulatory matters; Committed to providing a responsive and helpful service
