Position: Data Safe Haven Data Scientist

Duties: The Research IT Services department develops, delivers and operates a range of computational and data services to support UCLs research community; The Data Scientist is responsible for supporting researchers with high performance/throughput data science analyses, particularly for sensitive data within the Data Safe Haven, to help ensure delivery of world-leading research at UCL; The role will provide specialist support and engagement with the research community to deliver bespoke and technical solutions with expert knowledge. You will work alongside a vibrant and growing team of research software developers and research computing experts
Requirements: The successful applicant will have experience of analysing, researching and solving complex computational data analysis problems, particularly at scale using high throughput technologies; You will be able to communicate well with researchers, and present complex or technical information to a range of stakeholders. A relevant PhD degree or equivalent professional experience is required
