Position: Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Officer

Duties: The Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Officer is responsible for providing advice and support for applicant and student immigration casework whilst ensuring UCL complies fully with the Tier 4 sponsor duties; In undertaking this role, the post holder will liaise with prospective and current students and their representatives, members of staff in UCL academic units, Students Union UCL and Professional services divisions as well as external agencies such as UKVI and the Home Office
Requirements: The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a Higher Education environment. The appointee will have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise work and think clearly and work calmly to meet service standards under pressure; The nature of the work will require excellent interpersonal skills with a tactful and diplomatic approach to communication (both verbal and written) and a respect for confidentiality. In addition, the successful candidate will hold the ability to produce written communications to high standards of accuracy and clarity
