Duties: We are seeking to appoint a project manager with a research background to work on a high profile national research programme, the Early Detection of Neurodegenerative diseases (EDoN) Initiative, on early detection of Alzheimers disease (AD) and other neurodegenerative diseases causing dementia. The postholder will be part of the EDoN Digital Hub tasked with the development and implementation of a device-based digital diagnostic toolkit for application to cohorts at riks of dementia. The postholder will support the work of Dr Dennis Chan within the EDoN Digital Hub. In brief, this will involve: Coordination of EDoN-related research activities as conducted by Dr Chan and his team, including assistance in the organisation of undergraduate and postgraduate student projects; Liaison with other members of the Digital Hub; Liaison with other Hubs within EDoN and with the EDoN Steering Committee and Board
Requirements: Applicants should ideally have past experience of managing projects. Some past research work, preferably in the field of dementia, would be desirable. Individuals will be expected to work both independently and in collaboration, therefore applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability for autonomous working as well as excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills

Posts will be offered subject to satisfactory references and successful completion of a 9- month probationary period.
