Duties: There is an opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join IT for SLMS and lead the local IT teams supporting the Division of Biosciences and the School of Pharmacy within the Faculty of Life Sciences; The Service Manager works to ensure that appropriate IT services are maintained and delivered successfully to the facultys staff, student and honorary contract holders. In addition to the management of support teams, the post holder will be expected to engage effectively with academic and professional services colleagues to facilitate their support requirements, liaising with colleagues across UCL to deliver timely solutions
Requirements: The successful applicant should have a degree or significant experience in an IT service delivery role, together with a customer focused approach. The ability to lead both day to day support operations as well as the facultys program of IT change improvements and innovations is key, as is a strong technical background, excellent communication and management skills
