Position: System and application administrator (m/f/d)
Institution: Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft
Location: Berlin, Germany
Duties: Administration of specialist applications (and possibly servers) in the Windows environment; support and further development of the respective specialist applications, mainly the central IT service management system; Creation of concepts (operational and safety concepts etc.); Cooperation in the team and, if necessary, representation of the SharePoint administrator; Support of the specialist departments in the introduction of new applications; Interface programming; Administration of specialist applications (and possibly servers) in the Windows environment; Support and further development of the respective specialist applications, mainly the central IT service management system
Requirements: You have a university degree in the field of computer science or a comparable training; Knowledge and experience with Windows server (from 2016) is required; Basic knowledge of Powershell or C# would be advantageous; Initial experience in the administration of SharePoint environments is desirable; What is needed is the ability to present complex technical interrelationships in a way that is understandable to specialist users; Pleasure in the design and implementation of modern digital working environments; Good written and spoken knowledge of German and English

The MDC is a member of the largest scientific organization in Germany - the Helmholtz Association - and offers a stimulating and interactive research environment with the most modern infrastructure. Currently, 1,250 employees and approximately 500 guests work at the locations in Berlin-Buch and Berlin-Mitte. Within the scope of a replacement, we are looking for an employee who feels at home in complex and heterogeneous IT environments. The fields of activity of this position are especially applications in the Windows environment.For our Windows-based applications, we are looking for an experienced application supervisor who will drive the digitalization of the MDC.
