Duties: The Administrative Assistant will support the professors and team members of the Department of Engineering; Liaise with the University administration; Administration of business trips, acquisition orders, invoices; Support budget management; Welcome visitors, sort out mails, handle phone calls; Support the production of yearly reports, evaluation documents; Help with the organization of conferences, exhibits
Requirements: The successful candidate should demonstrate a proactive and rigorous attitude; have good communication skills and the ability to plan and work on simultaneous tasks with a sense of priority; Professional training and/or education in office management or studies in business administration, or related fields; Several years of experience in administrative work, preferably in a research or academic environment; Team player, diplomatic and able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment; Good sense of prioritising tasks and good self-management skills; Open-minded, proactive, able to multi-task and able to work autonomously; Fluency in English and French are required, knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be an advantage; Proficiency with modern office software, spreadsheets and content management systems; experience with SAP would be an advantage; Aptitude in dealing with numbers and following up on budgets; Welcoming and service oriented attitude
