Duties: The Research IT Services department develops, delivers and operates a range of computational and data services to support UCLs research community; The Data Scientist is responsible for supporting data science within our High Performance Computing services, including the Data Safe Haven, to help ensure delivery of world-leading research at UCL
Requirements: The successful applicant will have experience of working with High Performance Computing services, writing computer code for scientific programming and supporting scientific applications in a research or service-oriented environment. Knowledge of analysing and solving complex IT problems is essential, as well as being able to present complex technical information to a range of stakeholders. The post holder is expected to hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience

The post will be a full-time open ended role, and will provide specialist support and engagement with the research community to deliver bespoke and technical solutions with expert knowledge.
