Postdoc position in Immunology DTU Health Tech Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Tuesday 15 Sep 20 Apply for this job Apply no later than 1 November 2020 Apply for the job at DTU Health Tech by completing the following form. Apply online Post-doctoral position in Immunology starting February 1 2021 available at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Department of Health Technology, Section of Experimental and Translational Immunology. Research Project The project is titled: Understanding the importance of cIAPs as NF- κ B molecular switches in psoriasis .. The E3 ubiquitin ligases cIAP1 and cIAP2 (cIAPs) promote the canonical but suppress the non-canonical NF- κ B pathway. We have shown before that acute ablation of cIAPs blocks T-helper-17 (Th17) differentiation (see Rizk et al, 2019, Science Signaling), whereas cell-specific genetic deficiency leads to a progressive loss of IL-17-producing gamma delta ( γδ ) T cells and group 3 innate lymphoid cells (see Rizk et al, 2020, bioRxiv). In this project we aim to investigate: 1) the T cell intrinsic importance of cIAPs in the context of experimental psoriasis, 2) whether cIAP inhibition impacts on (a) disease progression and (b) keratinocyte function. Research group and environment The project will be carried out in the group of Dr Vasileios Bekiaris.
