Duties: The H2020 project MIMY - EMpowerment through liquid Integration of Migrant Youth in vulnerable conditions - which evaluates the integration of young migrants and focuses on their empowerment. The project is coordinated by the University of Luxembourg (PI: Prof. Dr. Birte Nienaber). The project is composed of a multidisciplinary team including 12 European institutions. Task: Support the coordination of the H2020 project MIMY; Contribute to the research activities of the H2020 project MIMY (e.g. conducting qualitative interviews or focus groups); Pro-actively support the dissemination and communication strategies of the H2020 project; Assist the professor and the team in the conception of project workshops, maintenance of project website and database, etc
Requirements: Master (or equivalent) in Social Sciences, Human Geography or any other related field (for example sociology, psychology, migration studies, political sciences, ); Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary and multilingual team; Experience in qualitative research; Experience in conducting interviews and/or focus groups; Experience in the use of common computer software (Microsoft Office); Effective communication and drafting skills; As the candidate will have to deal within a multilingual context, he/she must be fluent in English and in French (written and spoken). Knowledge of Luxembourgish and any other language (for example Arabic, Russian, Tigrigna or Serbian) will be considered as an advantage
