Position: Postdoctoral researcher in psycho-educational assessment

Duties: The post-doctoral researcher will contribute to the coordination of LUCET’s core mission (i.e., “Épreuves Standardisées”, the Luxembourg school monitoring programme) as well as related research projects. He/she will be responsible for the communication (including internal and external partners) as well as organizational workpackages related to the annual data collections (main tests and pretests; such as logistics). The post-doctoral researcher will also participate in research in the area of educational psychology leading to scientific publications. for the project tasks, the research associate reports directly to the LUCET management. Activities The post-doctoral researcher will contribute to the coordination of LUCET’s core mission (i.e., “Épreuves Standardisées”, the Luxembourg school monitoring programme) as well as related research projects. The following general research tasks are included in his/her responsibilities: contribute to the coordination of the LUCET’s core mission; supervise and organize the annual ÉpStan data collection including the ÉpStan pretests, especially focusing on ÉpStan QA and QC procedures; contribute to/prepare communication with external partners (political and educational stakeholders, logistic or other external suppliers, etc.); organize internal communication (project documentation, trainings, FAQs); contribute to the supervision and training of test assistants; contribute to LUCET’s public outreach efforts; perform any other tasks within the framework of the position
Requirements: PhD in psychological or educational sciences; Excellent understanding of the national educational context; Proven experience in (1) psycho-educational assessment, (2) project management and (3) coordination of teams; Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Very good oral and written competences in either German or French or both as well as English, Luxembourgish is a plus; Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
