Position: Marie Curie Fellow in CLIPE Project

Duties: CLIPE is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network in the framework of Horizon 2020, starting on March 1st, 2020 with a four-year duration. The network consists of 9 universities and research centres and 5 industrial partners; The primary objective of CLIPE is to train a generation of innovators and researchers in the field of virtual characters simulation and animation. UCL has two posts for Marie Curie Research Fellows. The first post is concerned with interactive description of complex animations. The second post is concerned with evaluation of social situations in immersive simulations. Postholders are expected to undertake our PhD programme and undertake collaboration research with partners in the network; Both posts are funded for 36 months in the first instance
Requirements: Candidates should have a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related discipline. Candidates must be in the first 4 years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their career and not awarded a PhD at the time of their recruitment. Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment. Candidates should have experience in real-time computer graphics, immersive technologies, human-computer interaction or computer animation
