Position: Marketing & Pricing Excellence Specialist

Duties: The Marketing & Pricing Excellence Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing & Pricing Excellence Manager to drive the transformation agenda for Global Marketing & Pricing Excellence; This position supports our ICO Business Unit (BU), collaborating with regional marketing segments to help gather market data insights and analysis for tactical and strategic planning purposes; Facilitates and drives continuous improvement of key stage review meeting for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, prefer a concentration in Marketing/Business; At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial environment, ideal experience in more than 1 area of marketing and/or sales; Analytical with good financial acumen; Proven experience in Project Management; Experience with working in multi-disciplinary programs and teams, from start to implementation and delivering results; Good interpersonal and communication skills including a high standard of written and spoken English; Familiar with MS Office (Excel) and ERP/Business Intelligence systems

The Marketing & Pricing Excellence Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing & Pricing Excellence Manager to drive the transformation agenda for Global Marketing & Pricing Excellence. This position supports our ICO Business Unit (BU), collaborating with regional marketing segments to help gather market data insights and analysis for tactical and strategic planning purposes. Facilitates and drives continuous improvement of key stage review meeting for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process. Key Responsibilities Proactively identifies and tailors required competencies, capabilities, processes and trainings for the business to ensure alignment with the Central Marketing and Pricing Excellence programs Performs data collection, cleansing, validation and analysis Creates comprehensive insights based on BU scope and customer/product level characteristics Contributes to design, and implements Pricing Excellence tools and processes to drive pricing and margin within BU’s segments and regions Identifies and develops Marketing & Pricing improvements and capabilities based on new insights Maintains key BU platforms for market insights and supports activities to enable improvements in the capabilities of regional marketing segments to develop and maintain local market insights Supports Marketing & Pricing Excellence Manager in management of the annual global and regional segment planning process in the BU ensuring high quality segment and operational plans are delivered for all segments Leads the organization and facilitation of the monthly primary market research (PMR) meeting cycle for the IBP process Leads specific working sessions in design and implementation activities where needed Identifies, reports and discusses key issues and develops action plans with the Central Marketing & Pricing Implementation managers Shares experiences and best practices in and between Marketing & Pricing Excellence teams in collaboration with the central team Reporting on Marketing KPI’s and on Pricing & Margin Management program Experience & Education Requirements Bachelor's degree, prefer a concentration in Marketing/Business At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial environment, ideal experience in more than 1 area of marketing and/or sales Analytical with good financial acumen Proven experience in Project Management Experience with working in multi-disciplinary programs and teams, from start to implementation and delivering results Good interpersonal and communication skills including a high standard of written and spoken English Familiar with MS Office (Excel) and ERP/Business Intelligence systems AkzoNobel is an equal opportunity employer.
