Duties: The Access and Widening Participation Office leads on the development and implementation of UCLs strategies to widen access to UCL from underrepresented groups. We are a large and dynamic team, working with a wide range of learners from primary and secondary students through to mature students, families and teachers. We take an evidence-led approach to access with a strong focus on evaluation and research; The Senior Access Officer (Pre 16) is responsible for the development and delivery of events and programmes to raise awareness and attainment in young people from groups underrepresented in higher education. Requirements: The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for widening participation in higher education and experience of working with schools and young people. They will have an organised approach, with the ability to prioritise a high volume of complex work. They will be an effective communicator, committed to delivering excellent customer service and with the ability to liaise with a wide range of people with tact and diplomacy. Experience of developing, managing and delivering projects and events and the ability to work collaboratively within a large team are essential requirements for the role
