The Institute of Numerical Simulation is looking for a research assistant (100%) in the field of mathematics (numerical analysis) for a period of three years as soon as possible. The research group of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Dölz is interested in the development, mathematical analysis, and im-plementation of fast numerical methods to quantify uncertainties in electromagnetic problems. Your duties:  Support of the research activities of the chair in the context of a PhD in the field of numerical analysis,  teaching obligation in the scope of 4 semester hours per week. Your profile:  University degree (Master) in mathematics, computational engineering or a relat-ed subject,  structured, independent, solution-oriented work ethics with high quality stand-ards,  interest in numerical methods and the simulation of physical phenomena,  programming knowledge in Matlab, C++ or comparable.
