The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is housed within the College of Science and Engineering. The department offers a M.S. in Structural Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring students. Candidates having expertise with teaching in an online or hybrid environment are particularly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities will include teaching fundamental undergraduate mechanics and other civil engineering related courses, advising year-long, industrially sponsored, multidisciplinary civil engineering capstone projects, and teaching contemporary science/engineering topics to non-engineering majors.
