Duties: Developing and implementing algorithms and proving theoretical results on the machine learning and statistical components on several problems in physical sciences and materials sciences. Monitoring implementation, management, coordination, and documentation of all study activities. Ensuring that components of the project are completed in an ethically, scientifically, and rigorous and timely manner. Prepare manuscripts and reproducible numeric results for dissemination of findings of the research and preparing related computer programs and software for public use
Requirements: The position requires a PhD in a discipline associated with the foundations or applications of Data Science, for example, Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Material Science. The candidate must have a strong background in algorithmic development and theoretical aspects of machine learning, apart from strong coding skills
