Position: Application Developer (*gn)

Duties: The Digital History Advanced Research Projects Accelerator (DHARPA) at C 2 DH is looking to hire an Application Developer as part of a research project supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR). You will join a growing team of researchers and technicians to develop a new software platform for historical research. Like the team leader’s other research software projects Zotero and Tropy, this new software will be a highly polished, user-friendly platform intended for wide public adoption
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in user interface design, computer science or related disciplines; Desired experience includes: Front-end application development; UI/UX design; JS for software development (ideally including React); HTML/CSS; Data visualisation; Passionate about open-source software development; Willingness to cooperate actively in a larger team of mixed experience; An interest in digital humanities, digital archives, and preservation will be a plus; Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate methodological, organised, pragmatic and effective approaches to the work; Good command of English and/or French
