Position: P&C Reserving Manager

Duties: Optimisation of claims reserving, provisioning techniques and strategy to achieve long-term business objectives; Ongoing development/enhancement of actuarial methods and diagnostic tools applied in reserving analyses; Modelling of reserves, claims triangulation and underwriting variability analyses; Work with the pricing team to identify and investigate emerging issues relating to UW and loss ratio performance providing insight into future claims trends; Assisting with the audit and year-end reconciliations; Produce documentation and commentary for both internal and external audiences
Requirements: Newly Qualified Actuary; Experienced user of reserving software (Res-Q); Motor reserving experience essential; High level of commercial acumen/analytical ability; SQL, SAS or R experience desirable; Analytical degree with 2: 1 or above classification or above

You will be Developing, owning and managing the group reserving process for our home, motor and bolt-on products.
