Position: (Senior) Project Manager Congresses AO Spine

Duties: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors; Implement, assess, and adjust sales plans on assigned exhibitions and meetings; Research and develop a list of potential sponsors and exhibitors for each conference; Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference; Developing of sponsorships catalogues and new sponsorship opportunities; exhibition manuals and promotional material; Setting up planning, coordination and monitoring of the exhibition floor services implementation; Establish and processes performance, evaluation and statistics about sponsorships; Supervising, coordinating and working closely with appointed professional congress organizer (PCO) in his/her areas of responsibility; Generate reports on sales activities and share findings, keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors; Design, develop and implement virtual event related activities as necessary
Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in advertising and events sales, ideally in the medical field, preferably in orthopedics; Proven track record of working in the field of health care systems or healthcare associations, either in customer relationship management, sponsoring or governmental affairs in industry or non-profit organizations; Deep knowledge of compliance regulations and experience in practical implementation; Ability to effectively plan sales strategy and strong communication and networking skills; Excellent oral and written communication in English and High degree of professionalism and customer service mindset; Ability (and flexibility) to travel and participate in weekend assignments at international meetings, events and congresses required; The ability to effectively work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently within allocated resources; Experience in organization of virtual events

AO Spine is an international community of spine surgeons generating, distributing, and exchanging knowledge to advance science and the spine care profession through research, education, and community development. Today, AO Spine has a community of 6,500 members. We are looking for a highly motivated personality for the position of: (Senior) Project Manager Congresses Based in our office in Davos, Switzerland, we offer maximum flexibility in terms of alternative working models such as home office days. Your main responsibilities will be to support the congress team and raise money through the sale of sponsorship and exhibition packages for conferences by targeting various companies, organizations and associations.
