General Information The Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics (CIS & BSAN) in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for a renewable term appointment with the rank of Lecturer. The appointment begins in the Fall 2020 semester. Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of CIS & BSAN faculty providing instruction in the core business curriculum. Candidates will be expected to teach business statistics, operations management, and/or management science at the undergraduate level. Qualifications • Master’s degree in statistics, operations management, management science, or in a closely related discipline is required. • Candidates must provide evidence of professional engagement in accordance with AACSB standards. • Teaching experience in a quantitative discipline is preferred. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in service to the department and profession.
