REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS M.S. in Statistics or a related field is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching and/or industrial experience involving applied statistics. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Statistics Department offers a program of study leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, while also offering a minor in statistics to students majoring in other disciplines. There are seventeen tenure-track faculty members in the department, all of whom have their PhD degree in Statistics, as well as several full-time and part-time lecturers. Faculty members come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide spectrum of emphasis areas in statistics. We are all committed to an interesting and strong curriculum in statistics at the undergraduate level, one which emphasizes application as well as underlying theory.
