Duties: The Political Science Department at Seattle University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer position for AY 2020-2021 starting September 2020 in Political Science with a primary focus on Political Theory and a secondary focus on Law beginning in September 2020, pending budgetary approval. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory courses in Political Theory; upper-division courses in Political Theory and Law, such as American Political Thought; Contemporary Political Thought; Modern Political Thought; Law, Politics and Society; as well as courses in the University Core for non-Political Science majors; and provide limited service, such as attending departmental meetings/events and advising students
Requirements: Candidates with a Ph.D. in Political Science or related field are preferred, but advanced ABDs will be considered. Evidence of teaching excellence is required
