Duties: The successful will be expected: To support and contribute to organization and delivery of the Year 6 (final year) GP assistantship curriculum. The applicant will have opportunities to contribute to on-going development and evaluation of teaching materials and assessment during the post (including a new quality assurance project); Design, organisation and delivery of the UCL annual GP tutor conference; To contribute to teaching delivery and assessment, as part of a large and dynamic team, providing a range of campus-based teaching across MBBS years 4-6 about General Practice and Primary Care; To contribute to refreshing and expanding our faculty of GP tutors and teaching practices, including contributing to our GP tutor medical education professional development programme
Requirements: The successful candidate will be fully registered with the General Medical Council, eligible for inclusion on the NHS performers list as a General Medical Practitioner and clinically active. They will have experience of teaching clinical students with a demonstrable commitment to teaching innovation; They will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, delivering to deadlines as well as working effectively with colleagues from a range of disciplinary backgrounds
