Duties: You will design and execute our Faculty communications and marketing strategy, in line with the overall Faculty strategy, to deliver the vision of the Dean. You will have the opportunity to push boundaries when it comes to shaping the ways we communicate, advocate and recruit. The post will also involve liaison with the Office of the Vice Provost for Advancement to ensure the Faculty is aligned with UCL’s institutional communications and marketing strategy. You will be responsible for advising on communications and marketing practices across the Faculty, have budget control, and will perform as a line manager and/or coach for other communications staff within the Faculty
Requirements: We are looking for an individual with: Experience of delivering communications and marketing support in a complex environment, experience in managing and delivering high quality strategic communications and campaigns and experience of producing a variety of communications materials. In addition, the postholder is expected to have the ability to write and present to a variety of audiences, making sense of complex issues, proven project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, the ability to encourage and garner input from diverse voices to support fair, fact-based decision-making and the ability to influence decision-making in a professional and diplomatic manner

For the past 100 years we have grown to combine architecture and planning with disciplines such as energy and construction, data-modelling and analysis, heritage and public policy. We explore human spaces: not just physical structures like homes, office blocks and cities, but the invisible structures that govern them; political and legal systems, financial frameworks and social norms, and even our understanding of the past, present and future. The Bartlett is an inventive, experimental space, working at the cutting edge of what we do. We are looking for someone who can truly bring out the originality of our community and its work.
